Families Matter has been developed by the peak parent organisations, the Australian Council of State School Organisations (ACSSO) and the Australian Parents Council (APC), funded by the Australian Government's Department of Health and Ageing as a necessary complement to MindMatters, and seeks to engage parents, carers and families in the health and well-being of their young people. Families Matter forms an integral part of the total suite of MindMatters initiatives, which currently include: MindMatters
